Daily Light has been a favorite daily devotional scripture reading plan for almost 200 years. It consists of brief groupings of scripture passages based around Biblical themes (for morning and evening) for each day of the year. It appends no commentary,
but rather allows scripture to speak for itself. This devotional was compiled by Samuel Bagster of London (1771-1852).
Daily Light on the Daily Path was originally published in London, England in the early 1800s by Samuel Bagster and also has been reprinted in the United States many times since the early 1800s. The Bible text used throughout the Daily Light devotional is from the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
